Facebook Explosion

Well it seems my Facebook page has exploded. Suddenly I am getting friends requests from people that I have not heard from in years. Maybe the holiday break has more people checking it out or spending time to find friends the lost touch with long ago.

This is certainly a good way to find people you have lost contact with. Certainly have grown since I first signed up.

Club Nintendo Goes Live... In the US

For those people with Nintendo products you can now earn goodies like people in Japan have been doing for years. I have gotten a few items from the Club Nintendo in Japan but it is nice to see that it is finally open here in the US. It even looks like past registered products will be eligable for coins.

At the moment the site is dog slow since there must be a million fans trying to get setup at the moment. As the days go by I am sure things will get better. If you do have any Nintendo products head on over and get setup.

Here is an interesting link that will teach you how to be a Harajuku Girl here in the US. Very interesting that there is a whole style associated with an area of Japan. When I was there this summer there were certainly lots of girls dressed up.. They do not tend to stand out so much over there but I imagine over in the US it is something that will turn heads.

Take any USB drive that you have and turn it into a NAS. Certainly a good way to breathe new life into an older USB drive that you have tied to some computer just to have it accessable on your network. Addonics has announced this devices and I see that it will sell for $55 which is a pretty sweet deal considering what it can do for you.

$15 Sex change?

Now I have seen it all.. The day all WOW players have been waiting for is finally here.. I just read that you can now pay $15 to Blizzard (since you do not give them enough money now) and change things like your face, hair, skin color and even sex. So those who think buying things as micro transactions to make your character look different now have a new thing to complain about. I guess this could be a mega-transaction of sorts.

I have stopped playing WOW once again and have been playing a little Warhammer Online but am finding that even that is hard to find the time to get into recently. WOW certainly is still rolling right along.
